europe | complimentary delivery

orders within the EU travel complimentary and tracked, with no minimum purchase. your tracking details arrive as soon as the piece leaves the studio.

international | tracked and insured

orders to canada, japan, switzerland, the united kingdom and the united states travel tracked and insured. shipping is calculated at checkout.

outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes and local charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the shipping cost. customs procedures vary by country, and clearance can add time or charges.

for destinations with known import restrictions, write before ordering so eligibility can be confirmed together.

delivery protection

your piece remains the studio's responsibility until it is delivered to you, or to a person you have named to receive it. if a parcel is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact hello@fendastudio.com and the studio will replace the piece or refund it in full.

if tracking shows no movement for 10 working days, write to the studio and the parcel will be traced with the carrier.

production | made to order

each piece is handcrafted individually in the haarlem studio. the production time for each design is shown on its page: typically two to three weeks from payment confirmation, and four to six weeks for pavé and multi-stone pieces, where matched stones are sourced line by line. the time shown on the page when you order is the delivery time agreed with you.

you will receive a note when your order enters production, and again once it has been dispatched. if you are working to a specific date, write before placing your order.

should a delay arise, you will be told promptly. if the agreed time is exceeded, you may set a reasonable further period, and if the piece has still not been delivered, cancel the order for a full refund.

a note on timelines

dispatch and delivery estimates are given in good faith. carrier disruption and customs processing outside the EU can affect the final delivery date.

returns | 14 days

you may withdraw from your purchase of a collection piece within 14 days of the day you, or a person you name, receive it, without giving a reason. a collection piece is a design ordered as offered on the site, in one of the listed metals, sizes and options.

to withdraw, tell the studio within those 14 days with a clear statement, by email to hello@fendastudio.com or through your account. you may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to.

within the EU, the studio arranges a free, insured collection from an address you choose, so returning a piece costs you nothing. from outside the EU, return shipping is at your cost, and tracked, insured shipping is recommended. please hand the piece over, or send it back, within 14 days of your message.

your refund

the purchase price and the standard delivery cost are refunded within 14 days of receiving your message, using the same payment method you used, at no charge to you. the refund may be held until the piece has arrived back at the studio or you have shared proof of its return, whichever comes first.

you are welcome to try a piece on as you would in a shop. if it comes back with wear, marks or damage beyond what is needed to see it, the refund may be reduced by the loss in value. please return it in its original box and pouch where you can.

made to your specification

the right of withdrawal does not apply to pieces made to your personal specification or clearly personalised: commissions; pieces developed around a stone selected individually with you beyond the listed options, or supplied by you; changes to a design's dimensions, stones or proportions beyond the listed options; and engraving of your own words. before work begins, the studio confirms in writing that the piece falls into this category.

any order may be cancelled free of charge before production starts.

faults and the legal guarantee

every piece carries the legal guarantee of conformity under dutch and EU law. if a piece shows a fault, contact hello@fendastudio.com with your order number and a photo. it will be repaired or replaced at no cost, or, where neither is possible, the price will be reduced or refunded. this guarantee applies in addition to the right of withdrawal, and nothing in this policy limits it.

ring resizing

if you are unsure of your size before ordering, a complimentary ring sizer can be sent before your piece is made.

should a resize be needed after receipt, contact the studio within 30 days. your first resize is complimentary.

later resizes are priced from €40 for argentium silver, and from €90 for gold and custom pieces, depending on complexity. resizing depends on the design and metal of the piece. some constructions have limits, and what is possible is always explained before any work begins.

certification

where a piece's page states it, larger centre stones are accompanied by a report from an independent gemmological laboratory. pavé and melee stones, due to their size, are not individually certified.

a note on care

every fenda piece is made to last. should yours need attention over time, write to the studio. repair is discussed case by case.
