every commission starts long before a drawing is made.
it begins with understanding the person who will live with the object.a stone may already exist, or we begin by finding one.
proportion is studied.
ideas are drawn.
forms are tested and refined.
materials are considered around the object and the person.
only then do we begin to make.
each piece is developed individually within the studio, allowing the conversation to continue from the first drawing to the final form.

begin the processfenda studio was founded in Sydney in 2020 by Bruno Candido and Leandro Riccioppo, and is now based in the Netherlands. directed by Bruno Candido and Leandro Riccioppo across its creative and studio practice, fenda works at the intersection of jewellery, architecture and object making. each piece is conceived and developed within fenda, carrying the same creative direction from its first line to its final form.
