a studio
shaped by architecture
an independent jewellery practice in haarlem
every fenda piece begins as a drawing. we study proportion on paper, then resolve it in three dimensions.
weight, balance and the way a piece rests on the body are settled before any metal is touched.
the making happens at our bench. settings are built, surfaces are worked and every edge is finished by hand. nothing is made in volume. nothing is made before it is ordered.
we honour time, craftsmanship, and the delicacy that only hands can build.
objects, art, architecture, feelings and the way that shapes our experience as humans.
bruno candido’s background spans architecture, fine arts, silversmithing and jewellery making. leandro riccioppo studied gemmology and business, bringing a close understanding of stones, materials and the structure of an independent studio.
founded in sydney in 2020 and relocated to the netherlands in 2026, fenda keeps design and making deliberately close. each piece is developed individually, from the first line to the final object.
the studio works through form, proportion and movement. ideas are shaped through intuition, precision and a sensitivity to the character of each material.
in portuguese, the founders’ mother tongue, fenda means a space in between: an opening, and an invitation to make.
